Spellings

Again this week spellings are words that we will be using in our writing. These words are from our class story ‘Little Charlie’ and we will be using them this week. These are not tricky words, therefore the children can sound them out. However, it would be a great support if you could learn these words, spelt correctly so that your child is able to write them quickly and accurately.

This week we have been using our number lines to support addition and start to look at missing number problems. At home please support your child to learnt their number bonds to 10.

You could make some flashcards to support this understanding. For example 1 with each number bond..

0+10 = 10

1+9 = 10

2+8 = 10

3+7 = 10

etc.
