This week in Year 1 we have continued with our topic ‘Bright Lights Big City’.

Over the past few weeks we have really enjoyed finding out about London and its famous landmarks.

Today we have been using our positional language to direct our friends to their favourite landmark using our London grid maps. We have had great fun making our way from London Zoo to The Shard, from The London Eye to The Gerkin and many many more!!

Next week we will be looking at the similarities and differences between London and other capital cities around the world. I wonder what we will find out?!
