We have begun our new Sow, Grow and Farm topic in Year 5 this week and it has been great!  So far, we have thought about land use for farming in the UK, looked at some allotment proposals, studied lifecycles, planned our own allotments and begun preparing our raised beds for some planting of our own!

Phew, and that is in just 4 afternoons, on top of learning our new model text based on James and the Giant Peach and continuing our learning about decimals.  What a great start to the summer term, well done Year 5!
