Today, Year 6 have worked incredibly hard to create their own Anderson shelters. To start with, the children created their designs based on images of real Anderson shelters from World War Two. They thought carefully about the materials they needed to use which would make their shelter look authentic. They also considered the best way to join their materials.

This morning, they collected their resources based on their designs and started to construct their shelters. The children worked incredibly hard all morning and have produced fantastic Anderson shelters.
