It was our last meeting of the year on Wednesday! Boo! But we had a great time just talking about the books that we were enjoying. One champ told us he had just started reading the first Wimpy Kid book, having not read any of them before (in fact he couldn’t put it down during the meeting!) This led into a great discussion about when you find a series of books you love and you just can’t stop reading them one after the other. All the champs were able to talk about their favourite series and some were inspired by others to give their favourite series a go. I’ve got a shopping list now for some of the series we don’t have in school already! It was a brilliant meeting … well done champs!
