History
Our History Project this term, ‘Dynamic Dynasties’, is all about the Ancient Chinese Shang Dynasty. This week we have been reseraching how people in the Shang Civilisation made objects out of bronze, depsite how complicated a process it was, especially 4000 years ago!
Have a look at these bronze items of weaponry from the Shang Dynasty. Can you see the beautiful, intricate carvings and decorations on the handles?
Have a go at drawing your own arrowhead, sword, axe or blade and detail the carvings you would put to decorate the handles!
