What an exciting day as scientists!
In our class, we explored how moving has an impact on our hearts. We found out that:
When you are resting, your heart beats slowly.
When you are moving, your heart beats faster.
We tried different activities to help us find this out, as well as exploring different ways we can move.
Here we are exploring. Look out for:
- Keepy Uppy with balloons
- Throwing and catching
- Animal walks (crabs and frogs)
- Cycling when lying down!
Clara-May has had a fantastic day, thank you.
What great scientists you all make! Looks like you’ve all had a fabulous day! Thank you for the lovely blog update
Isobel had so much fun in this session! She told me all about her heart beating differently as she moved around and she loved the keepy-uppys!
I loved playing Keepy Uppy with Connie and feeling my heart beat.
Aria was so excited to come home and tell us all about the heart and bones in the body. Great scientists!
Rae had such a fun day being a scientist, she couldn’t wait to tell me all about it.
Lovely pictures. Mabel told me all about it.
