Sit back, relax and prepare to be amazed as year 1 tell you the first part of this week’s story ‘Little Miss Inventor’. We have been using images from our class story map to support the learning and writing of our ‘story of the week’ and the whole class have been absolutely amazing at retelling it!

I wonder how much of our story the children can remember at home?

In Maths we are working on counting backwards and forwards from a given number, we have started our Maths Journals and we are learning how to use our Maths No Problem workbooks. Lots of children have been sharing how they have been practising this at home which is lovely to hear.

Well done Year 1… another brilliant week.
