Despite a few nerves and a technical hitch or two, Year 6 children delivered the first of a series of assemblies to the rest of the school on Wednesday. Inspirational stories were told, calming techniques shared and tricks to develop a growth mindset taught. Ask any member of Year 6 to explain the ‘Feel Great Eight’ when you encounter them about the school and they will happily give you a selection of strategies guaranteed to raise your morale and lift your spirits. Follow-up assemblies are planned for next month and the children in Year 6 can hardly wait!
