Another BRILLIANT week Year 4. Well done.

We’ve been learning a model text of a Rags to Riches tale – Cinderella.  It’s full of great writing tools like: fronted adverbials, prepositions to describe a setting, interesting names for settings (Ramshackle Cottage) that give the reader an insight to what the cottage might look like inside and some impressive vocabulary (eg flamboyant, chandeliers, intricate, pedestals).

We will try to record a performance of the class telling the story but for the meantime, here’s the text map.
