I cannot believe I am saying this but our year 6 pupils have finally come to the end of their time at Southill. We have had an incredible year and packed so much into it: heart dissections, sewing Christmas tree decorations, basketball tournaments, books with our buddies, orienteering, fossil hunting, surfing, den building, water pong, volleyball, endless book buzzes, a pizza party, bedtime stories in our PJS… just to name a few!
I am so proud of how hard the children have worked this year and how much they’ve have grown. We have made some brilliant memories together for their final year at Southill. They’ve also had a great final day playing with their buddies, signing t -shirts, playing volleyball and football, and singing karaoke!
I would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone. Thank you so much for the lovely cards, messages and gifts, and for your comments after the Leavers’ Assembly.
Now, all that is left for me to say is a huge good luck to Year Six! I will miss you all so much, you have been such a special class, and I know you are going to have a brilliant time at secondary school.
Have an incredible summer!
Miss Savage
