This term our RE topic is The Creation Story – Does God want Christians to look after the world?

We talked about the meaning of the word ‘Creation’ and made our own creations in the form of a flower. We then discussed how we felt about our creations; proud, happy lovely. We then talked about how we would feel if someone broke or spoiled our creations and decided we would feel very sad/angry because we’d spent so long making them.

We met our new friend ‘Abbey Owl’ – she helps us to ask questions and find the answers. We collected things from outside for Abbey Owl and thought about how they had been made and who might have made them. Abbey Owl read us the Creation Story from the bible.
