This week in year two the children have started a new English unit.  It is poetry and the poem we have been learning is How to paint a unicorn.  Ask your child if they can show you the actions! We have also begun a new class novel entitled The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark and how Plop the owl is not quite like other barn owls before him.
In PSHE we have been celebrating our differences and finding out there is no such thing as a ‘boy activity’ or ‘girl activity’ just activities that anyone can do.  Our storm break was Spider-Man themed and the children enjoyed getting into different positions and working with a partner.
