To kickstart book week, Year 3 chose a ‘baddie’ from one of their favourite books and made a WANTED poster of them. The aim was to reveal their identity to the public, in the hope of them being caught! They then thought about how they could describe their appearance in great detail and used some powerful adjectives and similes to do this. They also thought about their chosen baddie’s behaviour and used powerful verbs to describe the ‘crimes’ they had committed. You can see from the pictures below that they drew some fantastic drawings of their chosen baddies and have written some impressive character descriptions to go with them!
Great work, Year 3!
