Today in year 2 we practised lots of different ways of making 100p or £1. The children worked really well sharing different coins and we had another day of great problem solving. When the children couldn’t find the coins they needed they worked on using the coins they had to make the total to £1.  This practical activity really helped them answer questions in their work book and the coins were available to use too if they still needed them.
