Today we were rainbow collectors. We have been celebrating the diversity of our environment, looking for a rainbow of colours around our school grounds.

We started by talking about colours in nature, then looked at photos of the rainbow Mrs Puddick found in her garden. Then we set off with colour wheels to explore!

We found lots of green, yellow and pink/purple. It was trickier to find orange, blue and red. We talked about how this might be different in other seasons and would love to try this again in the summer!

Year 1 and 2 enjoyed looking for rainbows too.
