We have had such an exciting day out today. We travelled on the coach to Wimborne and found the Museum of East Dorset.
After a welcome and introduction we split into 4 groups and rotated round different activities.
One activity was a storytelling session for The Gingerbread Man, followed by a trail where we had to look out for characters from the story.
A second activity was to make a traditional toy peg doll.
A third activity was finding out about old toys and games to play. Here we are trying out different games.
Of course, we couldn’t have a gingerbread man day out without gingerbread biscuits! We decorated our biscuits then ate them! They were delicious. We also looked at lots of different things in the old kitchen and washed our hands in the sink that was outside!
We had such a wonderful day out and we found out so many new things.
Thanks to our adult helpers today – we could not do this without you. Mrs Kench, Mrs Lockwood, Mrs Thorne and Mr Murray.
Thank you for taking them out for a great day out! Amiyah enjoyed herself very much.
Eddie and Mr Murray had a fantastic time. Thank you all.
