Last week the children began practising their sewing skills.  We watched a video of someone completing a running stitch and then we all had a go! The children used binca, thread, and a sewing needle.  Lots of resilience was shown trying to put the thread through the eye of the needle and tying knots! Perseverance paid off and over two sessions the progress made was fantastic! We are continuing into this week and are hoping to create bag tags using a running stitch and appliqué.
