What a lovely, fun packed afternoon we had getting to know one another.  We learnt about wild garlic and had a sniff of some, made friendship bracelets with someone who wasn’t in our class and found out some facts about our new friends.  We then told the rest of the group about what we had found out.  We noticed how the field is covered in daisies and that it almost looked like a scattering of snow, wrote our Forest School Friendship Code, learnt about how to stay safe at Forest School and talked through the boundaries where we can go, learnt how to ‘log off’ from the fire circle, rolled down the slope (because we could), played heron and beavers (such great fun!) and we had a little bit of self directed time.

Towards the end of the session and sat in the log circle, we drank hot chocolate and discussed what we enjoyed and were most proud of.  Then we discussed ideas for activities next week.

We can’t wait for the next session.
