Today in year 2 the children started an investigation into germination.  We looked at different types of seeds from Mrs Sharpe, which we found very interesting as they are of different sizes and colours.  We found out that seeds have an embryo that contains the beginnings of life.  Once they have water and warmth they can begin to germinate.
For our investigation we have two trays of cress seeds.  One which will be watered daily and one tray without water.  We will be recording the progress of both every few days.
