Our Stormbreak for Mental Health Week was focused on self-worth and self-care – very important during SATs Week!
So we chose one of our favourite Stormbreaks – the Buddy Run. This is a running/walking route for pairs of children to travel together, having a conversation as they go. The idea behind the activity is that it encourages sharing and listening without judgement and with empathy.
The class asked for pairs to be drawn at random and it was great to see so many conversations going on as the class ran or walked around the playground. Top work everyone!
