We have had a fantastic week this week. We had a very special visitor in Nicki who came in to help us with our French lesson and the pronunciation of new words and classroom instructions. Nicki also told us about the time she lived in France and went to school there! The children had a great game of Nicki says, like Simon says but all in French. The children did so well with their listening and repetition and they had lots of fun in the process!
We have continued learning about the Stone Age this week, mainly about Neolithic life and the move from hunting and gathering to agriculture and domestication of animals.
We started a new book in our English lessons called The First Drawing by Mordicai Gerstein and worked on imagining what it would have been like over 30,000 years ago and what we may have seen and heard. The children have been very creative and imaginative!
Have a wonderful, safe and relaxing weekend.
