We opened a long, red parcel on Monday to find a red paintbrush inside! It reminded Mrs Puddick of a story called The Magic Paintbrush.

We talked about how the paintbrush only painted useful things which then became real! We had a great discussion about how things are useful and shared lots of ideas.

Then we used some beautiful watercolour paints and thin paintbrushes to paint our own useful things.

We were so careful using our new paints and adding detail to our pictures.

We are excited to explore this story more over the next few weeks.
