What an exciting return to school this week.

We started our Julia Donaldson topic by reading ‘Zog’ and ‘The Princess and the Wizard’.

We set up a dragon school, built castles and decorated sticks to use in our small world play.

As mathematicians, we were exploring ways of making 5 by playing a new game. We also met a new square number – number 9!

We have been working hard as writers to complete our morning challenge to write about a picture – on Thursday it was a night time picture with a moon.

We went on a daffodil walk and looked out for different coloured daffodils.
