Another great week for the Southill Starfish who have all exceeded at every opportunity, every day! From BBC Bitesize lessons (which we again adapted to show off what we could do), fun with Phonics games, exploring dinosaur facts and creating artwork as part of our topic (which we all find super interesting) … to relishing time outdoors in the sunshine learning ball control with hockey sticks and even some football skills – we’ve had a fun-packed week to be proud of.
Of course this comes as bittersweet as we must now say goodbye to our little Starfish bubble. We had a good chat about this today and asked questions as to why this might be. We agree that the best part is that as of next week we get to join our Year 1 friends in the Seahorses Class and we can’t wait to impress Miss Curtis and Mr Bell with our learning and top-notch attitude throughout the day. It will be exciting to be together again!
Well done everybody, we couldn’t be more proud of what you have achieved and just how well you settled into life back at Southill. With new routines, a new classroom and teachers too you have all excelled and hopefully have made some fun memories to keep forever during these unusual times.
Here are some extra photos of our last week together for you to enjoy. Have a great weekend!
