This week we have been focusing on time. Lots of us have covered this as part of our home learning during lock down so we have been recapping the key skills in class. You can support your child at home by telling the time to o’clock and half past, focusing particularly on where the minute hand is pointing at these key times.

In Year 1 children are also expected to be able to draw the hands on a clock for o’clock and half past times, ensuring the minute hand is longer than the hour hand.
