Spellings
Continue to look at the spelling list that came home last week. Support at home to find and recognize spellings. Focus on how some are similar – for example can you put your finger on ‘me’ and now put your finger on ‘my’.
We will be using this list in school when we are writing. The focus will be on finding the words quickly and accurately to then use in writing rather than knowing them all off the top of their head.
The list is also attached in the link below.

TopicĀ
This week your child has bought home a family tree – in their bookbags on Friday 10th December.
This is part of our Childhood topic – as you can imagine it is a bit difficult for us to help them complete it at school!
Please complete your family tree together talking about different family members, their relationship to you and their stage of life linking in with our previous learning. Are they babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults or elderly.
These need to be returned to school after the weekend on Monday 13th December so that we can share them in class.
Thanks for your continued support
Miss Curtis
