We would like the children to become fluent with the 5x table facts up to 12 x 5 = 60. A good starting point to help with this is counting in 5s

Our topic next half term is Mighty Metals. Today children will bring home a knowledge organiser which should give you a clear idea about what we will be learning. It’s a great idea if you can look at this together over half term and start to research the topic. Keep this document handy as it will be useful to refer to over the coming weeks.

Also over half term it is really important for your child to read as much as possible. Please keep their reading record up to date.

Here is a list of suggested books that you may wish to buy or borrow from the library which will support our topic learning. Most of these are non-fiction which will be great for Non-fiction November when we return after half term.
