We will not be setting spellings or times tables over the break, however please feel free to revise the spellings/tables set so far. You could even continue practising the ‘Speed Tables’ grids.

Instead, we ask that you ensure your child reads as much as possible over the break. A mixture of their school book and any books at home would be fantastic. Please records all reading inside their ‘Reading Record Book’. We will be checking on the first day back to see what fantastic books the children have been reading.

We’ve also sent home a ‘Knowledge Organiser’ all about our new topic next half term. It would be really helpful if your child learnt a thing or two about our new topic using this information/any other research they are able to find.
