Reading
It is still important to read at home. 10 – 15 minutes each day will continue to make a big difference to your child’s reading. If you would like to swap your books please email Mrs Woods who will arrange this for you.

Maths
Lots of you mentioned in your emails that the children have been finding ‘quarters’ a little bit tricky. It was lovely to see how creative you have all been when trying to think of different ways to explore this concept which is great – I have seen lots of pizzas!!!
Below is the link to some White Rose Maths activities which focus on quarters. You will notice there is a lot of emphasis on identifying which image ‘shows quarters’. These activities are looking for you to really focus on how there must be ‘four equal parts’. You will have looked at ‘equal’ when we focused on multiplication and division so the vocabulary should be becoming more familiar now. Hopefully this will help to consolidate the learning from last week.
