The spellings for this week are:

They will be tested next week on Friday 31st January. 

Parents: all words are selected from the age-appropriate National Curriculum list of statutory words. These are words your child has to know by the end of Year 3/4. Children are being taught strategies for learning spellings as part of their work at school. Please encourage them to practise at home during the week, and carry out an occasional test to prepare them for Friday morning.

Maths Home Learning

This week, we would like the children to practice their column multiplication (2-digit x a 1-digit number). The children learnt about this method last half term and we have recapped how to do it this morning. Today, we sent home a couple of examples to show you how it’s done. If however you would like more information on how to do column multiplication, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Prior. He will be more than happy to help.

On Friday after school, please ask your child to see their scores. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
