Parents: all words are selected from the age-appropriate National Curriculum list of statutory words. These are words your child has to know by the end of Year 3/4. Children are being taught strategies for learning spellings as part of their work at school. Please encourage them to practice at home during the week, and carry out an occasional test to prepare them for Friday morning.

Maths Home Learning

This week, we would like the children to continue practicing the ‘Speed Table’ grids. Keep learning those times tables, boys and girls as this will be the last week we do them. Hopefully it will be the ‘BEST SCORE EVER!’

Parents: We have also began to look at telling the time. It would be great if you could support your child at home with this and, any work you are able to do, please bring it in to show me as the children will receive raffle tickets (or even a postcard) for their efforts.
