Spellings for this week all focus on the suffix -ly. Sometimes it can be added to words without any change to the original word –

friend – friendly

proper – properly

actual – actually

eventual – eventually

original – originally

Mental maths this week is to practise the 2 and 5 times tables. Think up different ways to help you remember them. You could practise writing them out or singing them. You could write them up on post it notes and stick them around the house. The test next week will be a mixture of 2 and 5 times tables. Good luck!
