Today, you are going to learn how to use apostrophes to show possession – that something belongs to someone. First, watch this video (Username: student10987 Password: southill123). Then complete the attached activity.
English task for: Day 9
Arithmetic task
Write out the multiples of 5 to 60 on separate pieces of paper. Turn them face down then turn them over one at a time. How quickly can you say the number fives in that number? Maybe you could use pieces of Lego, pasta, beads or buttons to make the groups of five.

Today we are continuing our work on money. Please turn to page 28 in your Maths No Problem Textbook: Lesson 6 Exchanging Money. Again, it might be really good to try these activities using real coins (or play money if you have any). You can complete the Guided Practice tasks in your writing book.
We would then like you to have a go at Worksheet 6 – pages 29 & 30 in the Maths No Problem Workbook.

Topic based task: Wriggle and Crawl
Today’s activity is a combination of science and art. We would like you to find a few minibeasts and make careful observational drawings of them. You could use a hand lense or a bug pot with a magnifying lid to look really closely at the detail of the features you can see. How many legs? Does it have antennae? Can you see its eyes or mouth? Only draw what you can see. What shape is its body, legs, wings? Use only a sharp pencil to create careful line drawings.
