Time for Terrific Tuesday!
Phonics: Continue looking at 2-syllable words (words with 2 parts). Remember to split them in half to help with reading and writing. Look back at yesterday for an example. Today can you try reading and writing these words: visit jacket wicked poison – again, you could draw a picture to match each word if you would like to.
Writing: Picture of the day – a picture from Mrs Kench. This is Dora her house rabbit – the children know all about her! Remember to write using the words and sounds you know – use your sound board to help. Try to do this without too much help from your grown-ups! You can do it!
Reading: I hope you enjoyed the comic from yesterday. Visit the same website again today and see if you can read another comic. Try this one about a haircut – a great one for spotting your trigraphs when reading.
