Southill Show Swagger on the Netball Court

After school on Thursday, 6th March, 14 children were chosen to represent Southill Primary School in two netball matches at Radipole Primary School. Having trained incredibly hard, they were eager to step onto the court for this exciting away match.

Southill Team A, having previously claimed victory against Radipole earlier in the year, were determined to continue their winning streak. Meanwhile, Southill Team B featured several children playing their very first netball match, yet they approached the game with enthusiasm and a strong desire to put their skills to the test. Here’s how we got on:

I am immensely proud of both teams!! They played exceptionally well together, made great use of the space on the court, and demonstrated fantastic teamwork throughout. For both teams to come away victorious is an incredible achievement—I couldn’t be prouder!

A huge thank you to the parents and grandparents who not only helped transport the children safely to Radipole but also cheered us on from start to finish. A special thank you to Emily England for generously giving up her time after school to umpire and officiate one of the games.

Gratitude also goes to Mr. Frampton for capturing the action so brilliantly—I’m sure you’ll agree that the photos are fantastic! Lastly, a big thank you to Mrs. Hill for hosting and providing our children with the opportunity to play.

Roll on the BEE Netball Rally!
