This week we have been learning about Advent as a time of waiting and preparing for Christmas.

In our classroom we open a door on our Advent calendar each day.

We are also reading a book called ‘Winston delivers Christmas’ – an Advent story where we read a chapter each day.

On Tuesday we visited the church where Jo talked to us about Advent and we made Christmas star decorations to remind us of the Christmas story. Many thanks to the church for our wonderful afternoon.

We are all very excited about Christmas and are enjoying our festive activities!
