‘Ain’t No Mountain Hiigh Enough!’
This week, we have been beginning to focus on mountains. Earlier this week, we focused on mountains we would find in the United Kingdom and today we then looked at famous mountains from around the world.
We have been recapping what countries make up the UK and what/where the continents are. To help us with all of this, we have used an atlas in order to brush up on our map reading skills to locate them.
We’ve looked at mountains such as:
- Mount Snowdon
- Ben Nevis
- Scafell Pike
- Mount Everest
- Mount Kilimanjaro
- Mount Denali
Some children even went one step further and found out some fascinating facts relating to these mountains using online sources.
As the Go Jetters would say…. GEOGRAPHIC!
