Animal adaptations

This afternoon in year 2 the children learned about food chains and the importance of each producer and consumer in the food chain.  They then went on to learn about the way animals camouflage themselves or make themselves look like dangerous predators in order to not be eaten, or to hide from the food they are preying on!
We then headed outside into the garden to try and camouflage moths into the garden environment.  Children tried really hard to find the right colours and designs or pattens to ‘hide’ their moth.
