Arts Week? Completed it mate…

This week has been action-packed to say the least. Every afternoon, Year 4 have been learning about famous artists and have produced a number of pieces of art to be proud of.

Over the course of the week, we have focused on a different artist each day and we have then tried to replicate their style in order to produce art of our very own. From soap sculptures to abstract portraits, painting on canvas’ to pointillism, we have jammed a lot of artistic skills and opportunities into just a few afternoons.

A huge thank you to the children in Year 4 who have thrown themselves into Arts Week. I hope you’ve all had fun!

Don’t forget to visit the gallery in the school hall tomorrow at 2.30pm where you can purchase your child’s artwork for a small contribution.
