To celebrate art this week, we have been inspired by ‘Beasts of the Sea’ by Henri Matisse.

We decided to create our own masterpieces in a similar style.

First, we created the background by scraping and blending paint across our paper.

Then we coloured and cut out shapes to use for our collage.

Finally, we stuck the shapes on the background and added other details.

We also worked together to create a large under the sea scene – look at this!

It was great to celebrate and share this with our families.
