What an energetic, enthusiastic, encouraging start Class Two have had to the Spring term. We kicked off our new topic, Bounce (please have a look at our Class Curriculum map also on our class page) by thinking about movement, the importance of it and considering different ways animals move. We sorted animals according to their movement, explained our groupings, and watched some very entertaining videos of animals jumping, rolling, prancing, swooping . . . (the children will tell you more!) Out on the playground, we then recreated the animal movements we’d seen, taking on the role of monkeys, cats, horses and even sloths!
