Bubbles, beach huts and books!

This week has been another fun filled, educational week! First of all Miss Warner-Lee brought in a bubble machine and was shooting bubbles in the playground for Reception and kS1.  Lots of running around trying to pop them! The children have also been continuing with their unit on fractions and have been learning how to find a half and find a quarter.  Soon we will be moving on to thirds. Today the children really enjoyed looking at beach huts and how people use them today and we talked about how they used to be used as part of a changing machine in the Victorian era.  They then designed their own, which were very colourful and detailed! Finally we had a very calm reading session, where children enjoyed either Lexia or book reading.

Have a good rest of your week.
From the Year 2 team.
