This afternoon we went on a hunt for bugs! We founds lots of woodlice, spiders, beetles, flies and a big hairy caterpillar! We were very careful to be gentle with the creatures and returned them to the wild when we had finished having a good look at them. We decided that they were all invertebrates and discussed various different body parts!
I was so impressed with the way the children worked carefully and really embraced being ‘scientists’ this afternoon!
