Today we followed the time table for a usual Friday – mental maths and spelling assessments – as the children have been working hard to learn these all week.  We continued to look at symmetry in maths and we reflected on our latest hot task, making some improvements to spellings and punctuation, substituting words or adding extra detail.

This afternoon we had a lovely session with Mrs Aitken making symmetrical butterflies.  We then had an extra playtime to make the most of being outside, running around and being with our friends.  We finished the day with a class assembly focusing on gratitude.
