Cartoon Comic Strips
In order to truly demonstrate how well we have understood and familiarised ourselves with Shakespeare’s story ‘The Tempest’, the children were tasked with creating a cartoon comic strip of the story. Whilst this may sound easy, the children had to summarise a very long and complex storyline into just 8 sections!
Our first writing lesson this week involved summarising the main ideas from the story. We then had to consider speech bubbles and what characters may say. We then used the BBC Teach resources to help us sketch the characters and the settings from the story in order to produce some excellent comic strips.
The children really enjoyed this task and I am extremely impressed with some their eye-catching comic strips!
I loved doing the comic strips everyones turned out SO good
