Always worth waiting for, the Friday afternoon assembly is a highlight of the week (for me, anyway!).

Achievements out of school

Today we heard reports from a range of children about their fabulous achievements at out-of-school clubs. There was football, dancing, swimming and scavenger hunting! All the children were able to tell the school about their award and the reasons behind it – so doubly well done to everyone!

(Yes, I admit, the photographer’s had a shocker here. Clearly no idea how to use a flash – and what’s happened to our Year 1 swimmer? Sorry!)

Mathematician of the week

We were delighted to hear so many reasons why these children had impressed their teachers so much with their mathematical thinking and explaining. Great work, everyone!
