Achievements this week included a Year 1 motorcycle rider, a black-hat swimmer, two gymnasts of the week, another gymnast (Level 4!) and a football ‘trainer of the week’. How’s that for an exciting assembly? Well done everyone!
Our marvellous mathematicians were chosen by their teachers for some fabulous work in maths lessons this week. Captain Shelby was delighted to hear about the resilience the children displayed when the going got tough – and we all know that learning can be hard sometimes. Well done our Star Learners of the Week!
It was a real pleasure to be able to attend the celebration assembly today and to hear of the many great achievements from all the wonderful children.
Is anyone allowed to attend the celebration assembly or are certain parents invited? How does it work? Thanks!
Hi. Thanks for the question.
The children due to receive certificates in Friday’s assembly are chosen earlier in the week by their teachers and invitations sent home to their parents – usually on the preceding Wednesday. The hope is that the children have someone from their family at the assembly to see the certificate presented.
Thank you for clarifying. It was all so different last year with Covid. Lovely parents can come into school again. Thanks again.
