Daily Mile Champions

To mark the end of the term, we crowned ‘Daily Mile Champions in each unit. In the lower years, the trophy was awarded for persistence, resilience and a willingness to run each and every day during the Daily Mile. Higher up the school, every single lap that each child completed went towards their overall score.

After the scores had been counted and verified, I can now reveal that the winners of the Daily Mile Championships are…

Unit 1 (Years 1 and 2) – DRAGON

Unit 2 (Years 3 and 4) – DRAGON

Unit 3 (Years 5 and 6) – GRIFFIN

Cody in Year 6 was also awarded a special individual medal for his effort this term. His hard work earned a number of points for his team on a daily basis. The class completely agreed that he definitely deserved this medal as recognition for his determination and passion.

Well done to all of the winning teams. Coloured ribbons have been attached to the trophies to allow each team to bask in their glory. I wonder who will come out on top next term…
