Year 3 have been busy building a toolkit of writing skills for description, which they have then used to plan and begin writing their own portal stories with. As a class we have learnt our model text, Elf Road, through our text map using actions and expression to go with it. I have been so impressed with how quickly the children have learnt this text and I hope you at home also enjoy their brilliant performance of it! I am really looking forward to reading their finished portal stories.
